Issue: Customer required a backup solution that would provide a complete onsite backup and restore service, but replicate any critical data offsite, eliminating the need to take individual tapes offsite for storage.

Solution: The installation of the iShelter client onto their backup system running Backup Exec, allowed the customer to do full backups of all their data to a locally attached tape system, while sending their critical database files, and exchange mail stores offsite to the iShelter data center for secondary backups, restores and archiving. In the event a failure occurs and files need to be restored, all of their critical information is available securely online for immediate restore.

Issue: Customer has a small work from home sales and sales support team, and was looking for a backup solution that would safely and securely backup all corporate data on end users computers, as well as a solution that the main office IT personnel could administer.

Solution: The IT administrator for Phusion Networks Inc. created an account for the company on the iShetler login site. Once created, he was able to generate several sub-accounts for his remote sales teams. Using their account credentials all of the remote teams installed the iShelter backup client, and began securely backing up their information. The IT manager was able to verify when end users were doing backups, was able to provide backup and restore assistance to his team through the iShelter web portal, and was able to receive a single consolidated invoice from iShelter Inc.
